Rotisserie Chicken Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz 225 g pasta of choice
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions
  2. Add broccoli during final minutes of boiling
  3. Drain and set aside
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet
  5. Sauté garlic until fragrant
  6. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream
  7. Stir gently until sauce begins to thicken
  8. Add parmesan cheese and mix until smooth
  9. Season with salt and pepper
  10. Stir in shredded rotisserie chicken
  11. Add cooked pasta and broccoli
  12. Toss gently to coat evenly
  13. Cook briefly until heated through
  14. Remove from heat and serve warm
