Ingredients
  

  • Fresh lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger syrup – 1½ tablespoons
  • Sparkling water or club soda – ¾ cup
  • Ice cubes – as needed
  • Lemon slices – for garnish optional
  • Fresh ginger slice – for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the fresh lemon juice and ginger syrup.
  3. Stir gently to combine the flavors.
  4. Top with sparkling water or club soda.
  5. Stir once more, lightly, to keep the drink fizzy.
  6. Garnish with a lemon slice or fresh ginger if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while well chilled.
