Ingredients
  

  • 240 ml unsweetened almond milk or dairy milk
  • 180 g frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana peeled
  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger about 5 g, peeled and chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 120 g plain Greek yogurt optional for extra creaminess
  • 10 –15 ml honey or maple syrup optional, to taste
  • Optional garnish: lemon slice fresh blueberry handful, mint leaves

Method
 

  1. Add the unsweetened almond milk to the blender
  2. Add frozen blueberries and the peeled banana
  3. Pour in fresh lemon juice and sprinkle in lemon zest
  4. Add the chopped fresh ginger and ground turmeric
  5. If using, add plain Greek yogurt for additional creaminess
  6. Drizzle honey or maple syrup into the blender if desired for sweetness
  7. Blend on high until smooth and creamy
  8. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon brightness as needed
  9. Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with a slice of lemon, fresh blueberries, and mint leaves
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy
