Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups 480 ml pineapple juice – chilled for best flavor
  • 1 cup 240 ml fresh lemon juice – about 4–6 lemons
  • 3 cups 720 ml cold water – to balance the flavors
  • ½ cup 100 g granulated sugar – adjust to taste
  • 1 cup 240 ml lemon-lime soda (like Sprite) – optional for fizz
  • 1 cup ice cubes – for serving
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple chunks – for garnish
  • 1 lemon – sliced for garnish

Method
 

  1. Juice fresh lemons until you have about one cup of lemon juice, removing seeds for a smoother drink
  2. In a pitcher, combine pineapple juice and lemon juice, stirring well
  3. In a separate cup, dissolve sugar in a small amount of warm water to create a simple syrup
  4. Pour the syrup into the pitcher and mix until fully combined
  5. Add cold water gradually, tasting as you go to reach your preferred sweetness and strength
  6. Stir in lemon-lime soda if you want a fizzy version
  7. Add ice cubes directly into the pitcher or individual glasses
  8. Toss in pineapple chunks and lemon slices for extra flavor and presentation
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving
  10. Stir before serving to ensure even flavor distribution
