Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk – creates a smooth drinkable texture
  • cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt – adds protein and creaminess
  • 1 cup baby spinach – provides nutrients and a vibrant green color
  • 1 cup frozen banana slices about 1 medium banana – naturally sweetens and thickens the smoothie
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks – adds bright tropical flavor
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds – boosts fiber omega-3 fats, and texture
  • 1 –2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or honey optional – optional sweetness if desired

Method
 

  1. Pour the almond milk into the blender first to help the blades blend smoothly.
  2. Add Greek yogurt to create a creamy base.
  3. Place the baby spinach into the blender.
  4. Add the frozen banana slices.
  5. Add frozen pineapple chunks.
  6. Sprinkle chia seeds into the mixture.
  7. Add maple syrup or honey if additional sweetness is desired.
  8. Blend everything on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
  9. Pause and scrape down the sides if needed to ensure even blending.
  10. Blend again briefly until the smoothie reaches a silky consistency.
  11. Pour the smoothie into a glass.
  12. Serve immediately while cold and refreshing.
