Pat pork chops dry with paper towels
Season both sides with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, and paprika
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
Add pork chops and sear until golden brown on one side
Flip and cook until the internal temperature reaches safe doneness
Remove pork chops and set aside
Lower heat and add garlic to the skillet
Stir briefly until fragrant
Add lemon juice and lemon zest, scraping up browned bits
Stir in butter if using to create a glossy sauce
Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon sauce over them
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and optional red pepper flakes
Serve warm with extra lemon wedges
