Method
- Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C)
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and salt
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat
- Sear chicken until lightly browned on both sides
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with minced jalapeños and garlic
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over each chicken breast
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly on top
- Transfer chicken to oven and bake until cooked through
- Remove and top with crumbled bacon
- Garnish with jalapeño slices if desired
- Serve warm and enjoy
