Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
  • 6 oz 170 g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 –2 fresh jalapeños minced (seeds optional)
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon crumbled
  • Sliced jalapeño for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C)
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness
  3. Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and salt
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat
  5. Sear chicken until lightly browned on both sides
  6. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with minced jalapeños and garlic
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over each chicken breast
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly on top
  9. Transfer chicken to oven and bake until cooked through
  10. Remove and top with crumbled bacon
  11. Garnish with jalapeño slices if desired
  12. Serve warm and enjoy
