Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese – creates the main cheesy flavor and crisp texture
  • 1/4 cup almond flour – low-carb binder that replaces traditional flour
  • 1 large egg – helps hold the mixture together
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – helps the puffs rise and become airy
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder – adds a savory flavor boost
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt – enhances the cheese flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – adds mild seasoning

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add shredded cheddar cheese and almond flour to a mixing bowl.
  3. Sprinkle in baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Crack the egg into the bowl and mix everything together until a thick dough forms.
  5. Use a spoon or small scoop to portion the mixture into small balls.
  6. Place each portion onto the lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Gently shape each mound into a small round puff using your fingers or a spoon.
  8. Place the tray into the oven and bake until the snacks turn golden and slightly puffed.
  9. Remove the tray from the oven and allow the snacks to cool for several minutes.
  10. As they cool, the texture becomes crisp and crunchy.
  11. Serve immediately or store for later snacking.
