Ingredients
  

  • 6 crusty bread rolls about 5–6 inches each, sturdy and hollow-friendly
  • 8 oz 225g spaghetti pasta
  • 1 lb 450g ground beef
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 cups 480 ml marinara or tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup 120 ml beef broth
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup 25g grated Parmesan cheese
For Garlic Butter
  • 1/2 cup 115g unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves finely minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and set aside
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until soft and fragrant
  4. Stir in tomato paste, marinara sauce, beef broth, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper
  5. Let the sauce simmer for 10–15 minutes until thick and rich
  6. Toss cooked spaghetti into the sauce and mix until fully coated
  7. Slice the tops off bread rolls and hollow out the centers, leaving a thick wall
  8. In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, and salt
  9. Brush garlic butter generously inside and outside each bread bowl
  10. Place bread bowls on a lined baking tray
  11. Add a small layer of mozzarella cheese at the bottom of each bowl
  12. Fill each bowl with spaghetti mixture
  13. Top with more mozzarella and a sprinkle of Parmesan
  14. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and bread is crispy
  15. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm
