Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional toppings
  • Extra shredded cheddar cheese
  • Additional bacon crumbles
  • Fresh chopped parsley or chives

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken
  3. Add softened cream cheese on top
  4. Pour chicken broth into the slow cooker
  5. Cover and cook until the chicken becomes tender
  6. Shred the chicken using two forks directly in the slow cooker
  7. Stir the chicken with the cream cheese mixture until creamy
  8. Add shredded cheddar cheese and bacon crumbles
  9. Stir until the cheese melts and everything becomes well combined
  10. Garnish with chopped chives before serving
