Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups high-protein pasta or regular pasta
  • 1 lb 450 g lean beef steak or ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 1 small bell pepper sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt blend
  • cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup milk dairy or unsweetened alternative
  • Optional: chili flakes or hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions
  2. Drain and set aside
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet
  4. Add onions and bell peppers
  5. Sauté until softened and lightly caramelized
  6. Add beef and cook until browned
  7. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika
  8. Lower heat and stir in cream cheese
  9. Add milk gradually while stirring
  10. Sprinkle shredded cheese into sauce
  11. Stir until smooth and creamy
  12. Add cooked pasta to the skillet
  13. Toss until pasta is fully coated
  14. Cook briefly until heated through
  15. Serve warm
