Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound kielbasa or smoked sausage sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed (or 2 cans green beans, drained)
  • 1 pound baby potatoes halved (red or yellow)
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth low-sodium
  • 2 tablespoons butter cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika optional
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Place the sliced kielbasa, trimmed green beans, halved baby potatoes, and chopped onion into the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and black pepper over the top.
  3. Pour the chicken broth evenly over all the ingredients, then dot with pieces of butter.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the flavors are well blended.
  5. Stir gently about halfway through cooking if possible to distribute flavors.
  6. Before serving, garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
