Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your grill to medium heat so it’s hot and ready for caramelization.
- Trim the top and bottom of the pineapple, stand it upright and slice off the skin in strips.
- Cut the peeled pineapple into thick rounds or wedges and remove the core from each piece.
- Lightly oil the grill grates or spray with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the pineapple pieces onto the grill, letting them cook undisturbed for 3–5 minutes so grill marks form.
- Flip each piece and grill the other side until it’s golden and slightly charred with a sweet, juicy aroma.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey and ground cinnamon until combined.
- Remove the warm pineapple from the grill and immediately drizzle the honey mixture over the top.
- Serve hot off the grill or with your favorite accompaniment like ice cream or yogurt.
