Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes or lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat
  2. Add butter and allow it to melt
  3. Add minced garlic and cook briefly
  4. Stir until fragrant but not browned
  5. Add green beans to the skillet
  6. Toss gently to coat with butter
  7. Season with salt and black pepper
  8. Cook while stirring occasionally
  9. Continue sautéing until tender-crisp
  10. Remove from heat
  11. Add optional seasonings if desired
  12. Serve warm
