Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas or 1 can, about 400 g, drained and rinsed
  • tablespoons olive oil for coating and crisping
  • 1 teaspoon paprika adds smoky flavor
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder for savory depth
  • 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning optional, for tangy flavor
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly under cold water to remove excess starch
  3. Pat the chickpeas completely dry using a clean kitchen towel to ensure maximum crispiness
  4. Transfer the dried chickpeas into a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil
  5. Add paprika, garlic powder, ranch seasoning, and salt to the bowl
  6. Toss everything together until the chickpeas are evenly coated with oil and spices
  7. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking tray without overcrowding
  8. Roast in the oven until the chickpeas turn golden brown and crispy, shaking the tray halfway through
  9. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly to achieve maximum crunch
  10. Enjoy immediately or store for later snacking
