Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads or naan medium size, about 6–7 inches each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing the base
  • 1 clove garlic minced finely for flavor infusion
  • 6 oz brie cheese sliced, rind optional depending on preference
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries adds sweetness and tang
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts toasted for enhanced crunch and flavor
  • 1 –2 teaspoons fresh rosemary or thyme finely chopped, optional but recommended
  • 2 tablespoons honey for the drizzle
  • ¼ –½ teaspoon red chili flakes adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 pinch salt balances the sweetness of honey

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a small saucepan, gently warm the honey with red chili flakes and a pinch of salt over low heat for a few minutes, then set aside to infuse
  3. Place flatbreads on the prepared baking sheet and lightly brush each with olive oil
  4. Rub minced garlic evenly over the surface of the flatbreads for added flavor
  5. Arrange slices of brie cheese evenly across each flatbread, covering most of the surface
  6. Sprinkle dried cranberries and toasted walnuts over the cheese layer
  7. Add chopped rosemary or thyme if using for an aromatic touch
  8. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake until the cheese melts and the edges turn golden and crisp
  9. Remove from the oven and drizzle the warm hot honey generously over the top
  10. Slice into portions and serve immediately while warm and crispy
