Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and brush a large baking dish with olive oil
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness to ensure uniform cooking
- In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, paprika, salt, and black pepper
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until fully combined
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off
- Press the chicken firmly into the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, coating all sides evenly
- Place the coated chicken into the prepared baking dish, leaving space between pieces
- Bake uncovered for 22–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through for even crisping
- Remove the dish from the oven and spoon marinara sauce evenly over each chicken breast
- Sprinkle mozzarella and extra Parmesan cheese on top
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly
- Remove from the oven and allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving
