Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup 120 g full-fat cottage cheese – creates a creamy, protein-rich base
  • 1 large egg – binds the batter and adds structure
  • 2 tbsp 15 g cocoa powder – provides deep chocolate flavor
  • 2 –3 tbsp 30–45 ml sweetener (maple syrup, honey, or sugar-free option) – adds sweetness
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract – enhances flavor
  • Pinch of salt optional – balances sweetness
  • 1 tbsp 15 g chocolate chips – creates molten center

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if baking, or prepare a microwave-safe mug
  2. Add cottage cheese, egg, cocoa powder, sweetener, vanilla, and salt to a blender
  3. Blend until completely smooth and lump-free
  4. Pour batter into a greased ramekin or mug
  5. Add chocolate chips in the center for a molten effect
  6. Microwave for about 90 seconds or bake for 12–15 minutes
  7. Check that edges are set while the center remains slightly soft
  8. Let cool for 1–2 minutes before serving
  9. Serve warm for the best gooey texture
