Ingredients
  

Creamy Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened – forms the smooth and creamy base of the dip
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese – adds light texture and mild flavor
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil – enhances richness
  • ¼ teaspoon salt – balances the flavors
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper – adds subtle seasoning
Bruschetta Topping
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes diced – provides bright freshness and sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped – adds aromatic herbal flavor
  • 1 clove garlic minced – adds savory depth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil – coats the tomatoes and enhances flavor
  • ½ teaspoon salt – brings out the tomato flavor
Garnish
  • 1 –2 tablespoons balsamic glaze – adds sweet tangy contrast

Method
 

  1. Add softened cream cheese and ricotta to a mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle olive oil into the mixture.
  3. Add salt and black pepper.
  4. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly onto a serving platter or shallow dish.
  6. In another bowl combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, and salt.
  7. Stir the mixture gently until the ingredients are evenly coated.
  8. Spoon the tomato mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
  9. Drizzle balsamic glaze across the top in a zig-zag pattern.
  10. Garnish with extra chopped basil if desired.
  11. Serve immediately with crackers, crostini, or toasted bread.
