Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium bananas slightly firm, not overly ripe
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or melted butter
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt optional, enhances flavor

Method
 

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds about 1/8 inch thick for best crispiness
  2. Place the slices in a mixing bowl and gently coat them with melted coconut oil or butter
  3. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the banana slices and toss until evenly coated
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes
  6. Arrange banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping
  7. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking
  8. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to prevent burning
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let them cool for 5–10 minutes to crisp up further
  10. Serve immediately or store for later
