Ingredients
  

Smoothie Base
  • 2 bananas – adds natural sweetness and creamy texture
  • 12 frozen strawberries – provides fruity flavor and cold consistency
  • cups almond milk – creates the smooth liquid base
  • 2 squares dark chocolate – gives the smoothie its rich chocolate flavor
  • 1 cup ice – helps thicken and chill the smoothie
Optional Sweetener
  • Maple syrup or sugar optional – added if extra sweetness is desired

Method
 

  1. Place dark chocolate in a microwave-safe dish.
  2. Heat the chocolate for about 30 seconds until melted.
  3. Pour almond milk into the blender first.
  4. Add sliced bananas to the blender.
  5. Pour in the melted chocolate.
  6. Add frozen strawberries.
  7. Add ice on top of the ingredients.
  8. Blend everything on high until smooth and creamy.
  9. Taste the smoothie and add maple syrup if extra sweetness is desired.
  10. Blend again briefly if sweetener is added.
  11. Pour the smoothie into glasses.
  12. Serve immediately while cold.
