Ingredients

  • 16 ounces 450 g Polish sausage, kielbasa or link sausages, sliced
  • 1/2 large about 150 g yellow or white onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 bell peppers any colors, seeded and chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon 15 ml olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon 1 g garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 g parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1 g onion powder
  • Pinch of salt to taste
  • Pinch of cracked black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Place the sliced sausage, chopped bell peppers and onion pieces into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the sausage and veggies, then sprinkle on garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt and pepper.
  3. Toss everything together with tongs or large spoons so every piece is evenly coated in oil and seasoning.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for a couple of minutes while you finish tossing the ingredients.
  5. Transfer the sausage and pepper mixture into the air fryer basket, spreading it out so pieces have space to cook.
  6. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 12 minutes, shaking the basket or stirring halfway through so everything browns evenly.
  7. If you prefer extra crispness or deeper caramelization on the peppers and sausage, cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  8. Once the sausage is browned and the veggies are tender, remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
