Ingredients

  • For the Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets about 170 g each, skin on or off
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • For the Lemon Garlic Glaze
  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped

Method

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture
  2. Brush the salmon lightly with olive oil on all sides
  3. Season evenly with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes
  5. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin-side down if applicable
  6. Air fry for 7–9 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork
  7. While the salmon cooks, melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat
  8. Add minced garlic and sauté gently for 30 seconds until fragrant
  9. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and honey or maple syrup
  10. Remove glaze from heat and stir in fresh parsley
  11. Once salmon is cooked, spoon the warm lemon garlic glaze over each fillet
  12. Serve immediately while hot and glossy
