Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken strips, bell pepper slices, and onion strips
- Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the chicken and vegetables
- Sprinkle chili powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, fine salt, and black pepper over the mixture
- Toss the chicken and vegetables gently until everything is evenly coated in the seasoning
- Arrange the seasoned chicken and vegetables in an even layer inside the preheated air fryer basket
- Air fry at 175 °C (350 °F) for about 16–20 minutes, tossing halfway through cooking to promote even browning and cooking
- Check that the chicken pieces are fully cooked with no pink inside (internal temperature 74 °C / 165 °F)
- Remove everything from the air fryer and let rest briefly
- Serve hot with warmed tortillas and your favorite fajita garnishes
