Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices about 250 g raw bacon
  • Cooking spray optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) so it’s hot and ready to crisp the bacon evenly.
  2. Arrange the bacon slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap for best airflow.
  3. If desired, lightly mist the basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking, especially with leaner cuts.
  4. Slide the basket into the air fryer and cook for about 8 minutes, checking halfway to ensure even browning.
  5. After 8 minutes, flip the slices with tongs so each side crisps uniformly.
  6. Continue cooking for another 3–5 minutes, adjusting based on thickness and your preferred crispiness.
  7. When the bacon is deep golden and crackly, carefully remove it to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.
  8. Enjoy warm immediately for best texture or let cool slightly if using in other dishes.
